For Piano Ensembles: Duo, Trio, Quartet, and Quintet. Age group 16-34. The competition will be held in three rounds: I preliminary selection round (by recording), II and III rounds in the Concert Hall of the Kaluga Philharmonic Society, audition pursuing the Prize named after T. A. Gaidamovitch in the Concert Hall of the Music college named after S. I. Taneev, the final concert of the winners in the Concert Hall of the Kaluga Philharmonic Society and the Rachmaninov’s Hall of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

Ministry of culture of Russian Federation, Administration of Kaluga region, Moscow State Conservatoire named after P.I.Tchaikovsky, Russian Academy of music named after Gnessins, Association of chamber music, Composer’s Union of Russia, International Union of musicians.

CONDITIONS

The competition includes the following categories:

• Piano duo (two pianos)

• Piano trio

• Piano quartet

• Piano quintet

 

THE APPLICATION PROCEDURE

The competition is open to the ensembles where each musician is born not earlier than November 1, 1976, and not later than November 1, 1995.

To following documents are to be submitted together with the application form.

• copy of the passports

• copy of the certificate of music education

• curriculum vitae of the ensemble

• programmes of all rounds

• two photographs of the ensemble

• recording for the I round

• invoice of the entrance fee payment

Applications must be typed or written in capital letters in Russian, English, German, or French.
